Lol, this server COULD be on 24/7 without a VPS, Sam would just have to either run the server on a different computer and not close it out, but have an automatic restarted set to about every hour or everyother hour ( memory reasons ). Most owners choose not to do that because if they don't have it running on a decent computer with good aircooling, it will overheat. And It doesn't take much money just to get a VPS... It takes donators to KEEP it going. Most rsps owners usually invest the money buy buying a domain and paying for a VPS usually for the first 2 months to get it started.

I'm not trying to put Sam down, if that's how this came out.
I'm just trying to inform and educate those who don't know this information.

Sam, I'm sure this server will go far, but you can't make money, without spending some money

for updates, besides that is has always been 24/7

Sam, I'm sorry, but no matter how big the update, it does not take 3 days to compile unless your running your server files in a giant pile of crap running on ms-dos...
